Terms of use

The short version

• Sebaway gives information, not legal advice. It is not a lawyer, a gestoría or a government service.
• Sebaway never files anything for you and never acts in your name. You check, sign and submit your own papers.
• Only the authorities decide your case. Always check the official source before you act.
• Most of Sebaway is free. In Google Play you can pay for the Sebaway Pro, a subscription, or for one form filled in. See "What you pay for" below. Until purchases open in the app, Sebaway is free, and the parts of these terms about paying apply only once they do.
• You must be 18 or over.
• These terms never take away your rights as a consumer under Spanish and EU law.
• Government appointments (cita previa) are free. Sebaway never sells appointments or asks for money to file anything. Sebaway only charges inside the app, through Google Play.

What you pay for

1. Who we are

Sebaway is provided by Mohamed Mohamed Atwa (AtwaLabs) ("we", "us"), Al-Eglal Building, Al-Hoda wa Al-Nour, Mansoura, Dakahlia, Egypt. Registration: none (a private person, not a registered company). Tax number: none. Email: support@sebaway.app.

Our representative in the EU, being appointed, deals with data protection matters only. See the privacy policy.

2. Agreeing to these terms

Before you start, whether you create an account or use guest mode, the app shows you these terms and the privacy policy, which explains how we use your data, and asks you to accept them. You can read both at any time in Profile › Terms and privacy policy and at sebaway.app. We keep a copy of the version you accepted, and you can ask us for it.

3. What Sebaway is, and what it is not

Sebaway:

• explains procedures in Spain in plain language, with the official source and the date it was last checked;
• helps you prepare forms that you check, sign and submit yourself;
• keeps track of your procedures, dates and documents, and reminds you;
• helps you understand letters, with the help of AI;
• points you to official websites and to free legal help.

Sebaway is not:

• a lawyer, a law firm or a gestoría. It gives general information, not advice about your personal case.
• a government service. We are not linked to the Spanish government, the police or any public office.
• your representative. Sebaway never submits applications, never files anything, never books or buys appointments, never signs in to government websites for you, and never acts in your name.
• an emergency or medical service. In an emergency, call 112.

Sebaway never tells you that you "qualify" for something or that you will get a result. Only the authorities decide. If your question is about an appeal, a refusal, expulsion, detention or an asylum decision, Sebaway shows you where to get free legal help, for example the bar association's free legal aid (turno de oficio) or organisations such as CEAR, Accem or the Red Cross.

Appointments are free. Government appointments (cita previa) cost nothing. Sebaway never sells appointments, never asks for money to file anything, and never asks for your passwords, your Cl@ve or your digital certificate. Sebaway only charges inside the app, through Google Play. If someone says they are Sebaway and asks you for money for an appointment, for filing a paper, or to pay outside the app, it is a scam. Please tell us at support@sebaway.app.

4. Who can use Sebaway

• You must be 18 or over.
• Guest mode. You can use Sebaway without an account. Your data then stays only on your phone, and it is lost if you delete the app.
• Your account. Use a correct email address. Keep your phone and your email secure. Tell us at once if you think someone else is using your account.
• One person per account. Each account belongs to one adult. You can add your family or someone you help, but ask the adults first. The app reminds you.
• Personal use. Sebaway is for you and your family. It is not for running a business that serves clients.

5. AI features

• Ask Sebaway and letter help use AI from our provider, Anthropic. Every AI answer is labelled "AI".
• Answers are built from Sebaway's checked guides, but AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Check the official source shown under the answer before you act, especially for deadlines, fees and documents.
• AI translations of letters help you understand them. They are not official or sworn translations (traducción jurada). If an office asks for a sworn translation, use a sworn translator.
• Don't use AI translation to give medical consent or to sign legal documents.
• Sebaway may decline some questions, especially high-stakes legal ones, and point you to free legal help instead.
• Before your data goes to the AI for the first time, the app asks your permission. If you say no, you can still use the rest of Sebaway.
• Don't try to make the AI ignore its rules or do things it is not meant to do.

6. Guides, forms, Track and reminders

• Guides are checked against official sources on the date shown on each guide. Rules change. We update the guides and show the new date. If you find a mistake, tap "Report an error".
• Local information. National guides and forms work everywhere in Spain. Every city has links to its official local offices. Local tips are written for the Barcelona area first.
• Forms. You can see a free preview of every form on screen. With the Sebaway Pro, or after you buy that one form, Sebaway fills in the official form with your answers for you to print (section 7). You must check every field, then sign and submit it yourself, in person or online with your own digital certificate. Official forms change: use the link shown to check you have the current version.
• Track. Dates that Sebaway calculates, such as when you can renew your permit, are estimates based on what you entered and the rules in the guide. The deadline that counts is the one in your official documents or in the law.
• Reminders are set on your phone. They depend on your notification settings, your phone being on, and the dates you entered. Events you add to your calendar use the neutral title "Appointment" unless you change it.
• My documents keeps copies on your phone. They are not official copies, so keep your originals. If you want a copy in case you lose your phone, turn on backup and keep your recovery code safe. Without the code, nobody, not even us, can open your backup.

7. Sebaway Pro: prices, renewal, cancelling and refunds

What stays free. Everything listed under "Free, always" in "What you pay for" stays free, with or without Sebaway Pro, including the reminder to renew your permit. You get 10 AI questions a month for free. Questions that open the free legal help screen never count.

The free form preview. You can see every form filled in with your answers, on screen, for free. The preview says "PREVIEW · NOT VALID". You can't save, share or print it, and screenshots are blocked. To get the form to print, you need the Sebaway Pro, or you buy that one form.

What we sell. We sell the service of filling in a form with your answers. We never sell the official form itself. Blank official forms are free on the official page (many say "impreso gratuito, prohibida su venta": free form, not for sale), and Sebaway links to it. You hand in your form yourself. Sebaway never files anything for you.

What the Sebaway Pro includes

• Filling in every national and town form in Sebaway: the official PDF to print, and a copy-by-hand sheet where a town asks for its form to be filled in with a pen.
• Up to 30 AI questions a day.
• An encrypted backup in your account.
• Later, when they arrive: understand a letter (10 a month), check a lease (3 a month) and live voice translation (60 minutes a month). The app tells you when each one starts.

Prices

• Sebaway Pro: 19.99 € a month, or 49.99 € a year.
• One form filled in: 6.99 €, once.
• All prices include VAT. Google Play shows the final price before you pay.

Buying

• To buy, you need a Sebaway account and must be signed in. This way your subscription works on your other phones, and you can restore it on a new phone.
• Google Play takes the payment, under Google's own terms. Sebaway never sees your card or bank details.
• RevenueCat, a company in the USA, keeps the record of your purchases for us. The privacy policy explains what is in it.
• Sebaway is on Google Play first. If it comes to the App Store, these terms will say how buying works there.

Renewal and reminders

• Sebaway Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel. Google Play charges the same payment method.
• At least 15 days before every renewal, Sebaway tells you in the app: the renewal date, the price, and how to cancel. Google Play also emails you.
• Deleting the app, or your Sebaway account, does not cancel Sebaway Pro. Cancel it in Google Play.

How to cancel

• You can cancel at any time, in a few taps. In Sebaway, go to Profile › Sebaway Pro › Cancel or change: this opens your subscription in Google Play. You can also open Google Play › your profile picture › Payments and subscriptions › Subscriptions.
• Cancel before your renewal date so you are not charged again. Google Play doesn't set a fixed cut-off time, so to be safe, cancel at least one day before.
• After you cancel, you keep Sebaway Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Then it stops, and the free parts of Sebaway stay.
• Cancelling is as easy as subscribing. You don't have to explain why.

Price changes

• If the price of Sebaway Pro changes, Google Play and Sebaway tell you before it applies. For a price rise, Google gives at least 30 days' notice.
• If the price goes up, it applies to you only if you agree. If you don't agree in Google Play before the date, your subscription ends at the end of the period you paid for, and you are not charged the new price.
• A new price never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Refunds and your right to withdraw

• Within 48 hours of buying, you can ask Google Play for a refund, in the Google Play app or at play.google.com. Google decides.
• After 48 hours, write to us at support@sebaway.app with your Google Play order number. We answer in Arabic, English or Spanish, and we pay refunds back through Google Play.
• Your right to withdraw ends when your subscription starts. Before you pay, you tick: "Start my subscription now. I understand I can't withdraw and get my money back once it starts." Sebaway Pro is digital content that starts straight away, so your 14-day right to withdraw ends when it starts (TRLGDCU art. 103 m). You get a confirmation of the purchase that repeats this choice. You can always stop it renewing (see How to cancel). Within 48 hours of buying, Google Play may still refund you; Google decides. If Sebaway Pro doesn't work as described, you get your money back.
• One form filled in: see below. Once the form is made, you can't withdraw, but you get your money back if the form is faulty.
• If something doesn't work as described, your rights as a consumer apply (section 8).
• If a purchase is refunded, Sebaway Pro, or the form it paid for, ends at once. Forms you already saved stay on your phone: Sebaway never deletes your files.
• When Google asks us about a refund. Google may ask us to review a refund request. We may then tell Google which forms were made with that purchase and when. Never what was in them: your answers stay on your phone and we don't have them.

One form filled in

• 6.99 €, paid once in Google Play, for one form.
• You get that one form, filled in with your answers, as the file to print (or the copy-by-hand sheet where the town asks for a pen).
• Before you pay, you tick: "Make my form now. I understand I can't cancel once it's made." The form is digital content made for you straight away, so your 14-day right to withdraw ends once it is made. You get a confirmation of the purchase that repeats this choice.
• If a form is wrong because of us, we fix it. If a form is wrong because of a mistake on our side (for example the wrong or an outdated form, one of your answers in the wrong box, or a file that won't open), write to us at support@sebaway.app: we make it again for free or pay you back. Mistakes in the answers you typed are yours to correct.

Fair use

• The limits above (30 AI questions a day with Sebaway Pro, and the monthly limits of the features still to come) keep Sebaway affordable for everyone. The app shows how much you have left.
• If someone abuses purchases, for example by buying, using and asking for a refund again and again, we may refuse to sell them Sebaway Pro or forms in the future. We tell the person why, and they can reply. This never takes away the free parts of Sebaway, or a period already paid for that was not refunded.

8. Your rights as a consumer

• Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under Spanish and EU law. This includes your rights if Sebaway is not as described or does not work properly, and your right of withdrawal where it applies.
• If the Sebaway Pro or a form you bought does not work as described, tell us. We will fix it within a reasonable time and at no cost to you. If we don't fix it, if we refuse to, or if the problem is serious, you can ask for a lower price, or end your subscription and get back what you paid for the time affected or for the form.

9. Using Sebaway fairly

You agree not to:

• add or share other people's documents or information without their permission;
• use Sebaway to deceive the authorities, make false documents or get around the law;
• use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on Sebaway, or copy its guides in bulk;
• try to break into, overload or reverse engineer Sebaway, except where the law allows it;
• resell Sebaway, or use it to run a business that serves other people, unless we agree in writing;
• pretend to be Sebaway or someone else, or use Sebaway to harass anyone;
• use Sebaway to buy or sell appointments.

10. Your content

Your documents, notes, questions and letters stay yours. We use them only to provide Sebaway to you, as the privacy policy explains. When you delete the content or your account, we stop using it, except for what the privacy policy says we must keep. Only add content you have the right to add.

11. Our content

The guides, texts, design, name and logo of Sebaway belong to us or to the people who license them to us. You may use them for your own personal use. Don't copy, publish or sell them without our permission. Laws and official decisions are public. Official forms come from the public bodies that publish them, and we link to the official versions. Blank official forms are free, and Sebaway never sells them.

12. Links to other websites

Sebaway links to official websites and other services. We choose them carefully, but we don't control them, and their own terms apply. If a link stops working or a page has changed, please tell us.

13. Changes to Sebaway

We keep improving Sebaway, and sometimes we change or remove features. The Sebaway Pro stays as described for the period you have paid for. If a change makes Sebaway Pro clearly worse for you, we will tell you at least 30 days before. You can then end your subscription for free and get back what you paid for the unused time.

We may pause Sebaway for maintenance or security. We try to do this at quiet times and tell you before.

14. Responsibility

• We are responsible for providing Sebaway as described in these terms and in the app, and as the law requires.
• We are not responsible for decisions the authorities make about you, for the applications you submit, for content on websites we don't control, or for problems caused by your phone, its settings or your internet connection. This does not apply when the problem is caused by a fault in Sebaway or by us not meeting our obligations.
• You are responsible for the information you enter and the documents you submit to the authorities.
• Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where the law does not allow it: for example, for harm we cause on purpose or through gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or for your rights as a consumer.

15. Ending your account

• You can stop using Sebaway and delete your account at any time, in Profile › Privacy centre or at https://sebaway.app/delete-account. Deleting your account does not cancel the Sebaway Pro in Google Play, so cancel it there first.
• We may suspend or close your account if you seriously break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users or Sebaway. Except in urgent cases, we will tell you first, explain why, and give you a chance to reply. If we close your account without a serious breach on your part, we will pay back the unused part of Sebaway Pro.
• If we ever stop running Sebaway, we will tell you at least 60 days before, pay back the unused part of Sebaway Pro, and give you time to export your data.
• What happens to your data afterwards is in the privacy policy, section 9.

16. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for valid reasons: a change in the law, new or changed features, security, or to make them clearer. We will tell you in the app at least 30 days before an important change applies. If you don't agree, you can stop using Sebaway, cancel the Sebaway Pro and delete your account before the change applies, at no cost. Changes never apply to the past.

17. Complaints and disputes

• Talk to us first at support@sebaway.app, in Arabic, English or Spanish. We aim to reply within two working days.
• You can also contact a consumer office, for example your town hall's consumer information office (OMIC) or your region's consumer agency.
• Law. These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you live in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of that country.
• Courts. You can take a claim to the courts where you live. We can only take a claim against you to those courts.
• If one part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.

18. Languages

These terms are in Arabic, English and Spanish. All three versions have the same value. If they differ, the meaning most favourable to you applies.

19. A planned lawyer marketplace

We plan a paid service, later, that connects you with lawyers and gestorías. It is not part of Sebaway today and these terms don't cover it. Before it starts, we will publish its own terms and update the privacy policy.
